Sorry everyone... How the time flies! It's been almost a year and a half since I updated the website. At some point I guess that this website will be a little too self-serving. I mean, where do you draw the line? But I did realize the last time I checked out the site that Julan has changed so much since her last set of pictures. "Our little baby's growing up?!?!?"
As of this writing, it's about a week before her third birthday. So much change over the last year and half! Check out the Latest New and Improved Photos to see what I mean! Our little baby is now a little girl. Last time I wrote, she was speaking small phrases - now we can't seem to keep her quiet. Complete sentences (not just one, but one after another after another!) And she sings about EVERYTHING!
Now for those of you that have little girls, this may not be a shocker. But for a guy like me that grew up around boys, then had three boys, this is a bit of a culture shock. "Daddy, I wanna watch Dora!" "Daddy, sing the Barney song with me!" "Daddy, do you think my shoes are pretty?" "Daddy, are your cookies good? I like cookies." "Daddy, look at me."Of course, her mama and I think she's the most brilliant girl in the world. She knows her ABCs, she counts almost to 20. She dresses herself. She does quadratic equations. Well, not really, but I bet she will be before I get around to updating the website again.
Like most little girls, she is absolutely adorable. But she also has some not quite so adorable traits. One she has expressed lately is a tendency to bat eyelashes when she's been up to no good. If we find her playing in the sink or eating something that she didn't ask for (in other words, when she gets busted) she'll coyly tilt her head to the side and say, "I love you, daddy." In about twenty years there's gonna be some guy totally not prepared for this girl!I'm not going to go on and on forever with this update. Mostly I just wanted to upload a few new pictures so all can see how much she's grown. Let's just say in every respect she's what you'd expect of a three year old little girl. She is truly the light of our lives (just like all of our kids) and a joy to all she meets.
I'll try to keep the pictures more up to date. (Place a LOT of emphasis on the word TRY while reading the previous sentence.)
